No longer produced, Monki was one of the first to impress. Find out why...

Monki Magazine, Issue No 7
Monki is a fashion brand magazine that I'm not sure is even still produced, but as this issue, the travel issue was one of the firsts in my collection of publications, I felt I had to write something on it...if you're interested in what they were doing in 2012, read on!
The style
I have to say, this magazine is HUGE. It's larger than A4, reminding me a little bit, of a white middle class male lounging in an armchair with a broadsheet newspaper. Fashion magazines are (I should say were as I don't buy fashion magazines, haven't seen on in years, so don't know what they currenty look like, but anyway) they were commonly quite large affairs, I think it showcase high fashion.
The content
It's what you can expect.
Although this magazine is of no real interest to me, I can't quite let go. I don't mean to be sentimental but it's one of the publications that sparked off my collecting and it's in pretty good nick...
The audience
It's old, so there is no audience. It was once for young 20 year old women (which is about the time in my life I got it). I was fresh out of university, hopping and popping all over London, which was still quite new in terms of living to me and it looked cool.
I been unable to find much on this magazine issue or that any ever even existed, but here are a couple of people that clearly cared at the time; the V like studio and Gretas Schwester. Both blogs which, also seem to have been abandoned.
A final note
Should I let this go to a better home... I don't know who would take care of it as I do though - I mean it's a high street fashion magazine, designed for marketing from 2012, which is I think now defunct.
